Internship Program

 Interns working for UltraSource in our full-time summer internship program will have the opportunity to gain practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience. As part of this unique work experience you will network with industry professionals, assist company leadership, and have the chance to participate in company decision making processes.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

Learn and follow the Six Sigma DMAIC process in a highly technical production environment while creating a Total Productive Maintenance program from the ground up.

During your internship you will:

Define the benefits of establishing and implementing a preventative maintenance program.

Measure operational performance and determine efficiencies by creating process maps and performing time studies to help define Total Productive Maintenance.

Analyze data by constructing process and value stream maps.

Improve on-time shipping performance for our growing company by implementing Total Productive Maintenance best practices in an ERP database.

Control the results and sustainability of the Total Productive Maintenance program by implementing various quality control tools.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Exemplify the Core USI principles: Positive Outlook, Honesty, Determination, Responsibility, and Commitment to Excellence.
• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0+.
• Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card with proof of residency.
• Must be self-driven, inquisitive, and motivated.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute in a team environment.
• Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
